Europe-Chimaera is a community dedicated to recreate the Star Wars Galaxies experience that was lost when Sony Online Entertainment introduced the Combat Upgrade and later the New Game Enhancements. Europe-Chimaera intends to run a server - located in the United Kingdom - and host emulator software to provide the community with a place to play one of the greatest MMORPGs of all times. At this time, there are two promising projects attempting to emulate the pre-CU client of Star Wars Galaxies, Star Wars Galaxies Emulator and Star Wars Galaxies: A New Hope.
