Just a quick post to clarify a couple of things relating to 'The Arcade' section of the EC forum. While I'm sure it's common sense to 99% of folk, sadly some recent events require a more formal statement on the matter.
1) Forum rules and standards still apply to comments made while submitting high scores.
If comments are considered in poor taste or otherwise unacceptable, they are subject to moderation or removal by a mod or admin without prior notice.
Should this not be an isolated incident (for example, a member persists in doing this or does this on large numbers of game high scores in one session), it'll be treated in the same way as any persistent breach of our rules and an infraction and/or ban may result.
2) Any suspect scores where hacking or other third party program assistance is strongly suspected are liable to deletion without warning.
Interfering with the arcade or using underhand means to scam a high score will not be tolerated. It's meant as a bit of fun, and cheating just shows up both a lack of skill and a lack of respect to other folk trying to beat you.
The one confirmed case of this happening will hopefully be the last, however - as above - as well as the score being deleted, an infraction and/or ban may result.
Due to the serious nature of this kind of breach of trust, a ban is highly likely in these circumstances.

The 1% are now warned.
Everyone else - go compete! :D
