some referees would have allowed the try, some dont, depends all on the angle you watch the replays from. yes south africa made some nice tackles, specially habana vs sackey. Both teams could have won it at the end, only differnce south africa didnt give to many penaltys away...

@ kyho, i've never once said england played shit, they play shit rugby to watch, but they performed what they can well. However, they were the 2nd best side on the night.

It doesn't matter how many replays the fucking ref needed or that it was needed at all, thats the rules in rugby. Fact of the matter is, every enlgand fan (and i don't mean band wagon cunts who know fuck all about rugby) should be proud of what the team done, but they shouldn't bitch and moan about how or why they lost, they lost coz SA deserved it. I think it wasn't in touch. Just my opinion.

However, the important thing is - we would still have lost if we'd scored it and even if Wilko got the conversion.

Wilko was off his kicking (missed two drop goals) so we lost.
Our lineout was not as good as theirs, so we lost.

So, England are no longer the piece of crap they were when they played SA a month ago. They appear to have dug themselves out of the crap that they played in the 6 nations earlier in the year.

We'll see if it lasts.

I'd ask you to count to ten but I know you'd only get as far as 6 - as no Scot makes the last 4...

If you had a top class team (ever) you'd be worth listening to.

Funny thing is, if Scotland had made the final (crazy idea I know) I'd have supported them. Pity the Scots are so childish really.

It doesn't matter - we would have lost if it was given!

And it would mean that, during that competition we were the SECOND[/b] best rugby team in the world. That's what second place means. It means better that any team that didn't make the final. We did. It was a shock. I'm HAPPY with the result now that I watched a few of the matches again. Better team won. Not the best team on the night maybe (I think it was too close to call as to who played [u]best in that game but maybe SA had it by a whisker). SA were best throughout whole competition.

But England came second to best team in the world in the world cup. No other team that failed to win the cup can say that they were team places number two. They use higher numbers than two...

That is not bad. Considering 2 months ago (or even 6 weeks) I and most others thought we'd struggle against a blind team of OAP ladies ( no I mean other than the Scottish national side ;P )

So no, though we did before we don't suck at rugby (at present) - just at most everything else :(

we would of been ahead on points and the english defence would of gone like a padlock as a result of not being infront on points england had to attack which led to the SA pens... so dont tell me we lost by 2 points or the try did not matter cus it did.
