Tell us what exactly you want to edit, and I'll, in turn, let you know which program will suit your needs the best.

I use virtualdub myself, for avi editing. Been known to use windows movie maker for wmv, altho the program sucks ballsack.

What format is it in now? wmv is a little cack, but filesize vs. quality ratio is pretty good imo.
